  Welcome to Canyon's AKC puppies.  Here at Canyon's we raise quality AKC registered Alaskan Malamutes, Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Weimaraners.  Our names are Cheryl and Glynna.  We have been raising quality puppies since 1995.  We have many repeat customers and good references.  We strive to have genetically sound and social puppies with outgoing personalities and great temperaments.  You are assured to get the puppy you pick, we will always be updating our puppy pages weekly so that you can watch your puppie's growth.

Our first experience with Alaskan Malamutes was about ten years ago. We got our beloved Rocky at the tender age of eight weeks. He was half Alaskan Malamute and half Great Pyrenees. He was the biggest love of our lives. He was slow and sweet. He always wanted to please us. He was Cheryl's constant companion and her heart dog. He was tragically taken from us on December 20th, 2003. We know Rocky waits for Cheryl at the Rainbow Bridge. When we came to grips with the loss of our Rocky we got Manitou. Maintou a.k.a. Two is a full blood Alaskan Malamute. Two is a well behaved AKC Canine Good Citizen with lots to say and even more personality. Two loves to boat, eat ice cream, visit the girls at the drive through bank and go motorcyle riding.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis

We call them our big beautiful silver angels. We had quite a set back. We lost our beloved Peppy, the sire to all of our weimaraner puppies in August , 2007. He was the sweetest big boy. He loved everyone including his off spring. We have a replacement now. His name is Bubba. He is now the father of all of our weimaraner puppies. He is a very handsome young guy with the best personality. We could not be any happier with him. This breed is in the sporting group and they love to hunt and get plenty of exercise. We have 5 adult females that were all born in 2001. It is sad to think we will be retiring them from our breeding program in the next couple of years. We have 2 younger girls that join Bubba and will soon be producing wonderful puppies. We only raise silver gray puppies and always strive for excellent health and temperament.

We passed our most recent inspection in December, 2008 with AKC and will provide a copy of this in your puppy pack.

All puppies come with:

1) A Purina Puppy Chow puppy pack

2) A full vet check up and vaccination record

3) For a $20 charge, Malamutes, Weimaraners and Corgi puppies can be micro chipped with a pre enrolled AKC CAR micro chip 

4) As an Exclusive AKC Provider, we can register your puppy at a lower fee at the time of purchase

5) Malamute puppies come with a 3 generation pedigree

We call the corgi the big dog in a small package. We have been raising this breed for 9 years now and love it so much we are now retiring off some of our older girls to loving homes. We have been holding back some of the very nicest females in the past 3 years to bring up to continue our line. We started years back with 5 sisters and our prized Leroy that grew in to a very handsome guy who fathers some of the nicest corgis in Oklahoma. He has offspring from Florida to California. 4 hot summers ago, we lost him. It rocked our world but we were lucky enough to continue his blood line by Radar being born a few weeks later. He has grown in to a very sweet, beautiful guy who reminds us of his daddy daily. Radar has fathered several litters now and seems to produce a blue gene in to the color pool. We have another male we call Reno. He brings new genes in to our line. He is a spunky, cute little red and white guy born in October, 2006. He has now fathered a few litters of some of the prettiest corgi babies we have ever seen. We now are producing red, black tri, and the rare blue color in puppies. We strive for the smart, sweet tempered smaller framed corgis.

Don't ever bother asking us if malamutes shed.  They blow their under coat once a year and Tundra blew hers today.
